BrokerTec Admits Takeover Talks

ORGANIZATION AND STRATEGY

LONDON--Bond trading platform Brokertec last week confirmed widespread industry rumors that it is the subject of takeover talks.

As Trading Technology Week went to press on Friday, BrokerTec issued a statement confirming that it had been approached by several parties about "possible strategic combinations," and that it was in the early stages of talks with an unspecified number of potential partners.
