Reuters' Latest Answer To Bloomberg: Unlimited Free E-Mail Service

Reuters hopes that the introduction of ReuterMail, a free electronic mail service for users of the Reuter Terminal (RT) and the forthcoming Session Services, will develop into a large-scale private mail service -- connecting, in theory, the 300,000 users of Reuters' services.

ReuterMail, which was introduced six months ago, is currently available in 30 countries and has some 2,000 users, according to Chris Ordish, deputy marketing director of Reuters U.K. and Ireland (UKI). Reuters expects usage
