WestLB Links Global Trader In 3 Sites, Gets Real-Time Overview Of Positions

The trading management staff in the Singapore office of Westdeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale (WestLB) now have real-time overviews of the bank's positions in the Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo trading rooms because of a new link among the data engines of the Global Trader system.
Developed by US-based ADS Associates, the Global Trader uses the Btrieve flat file database from Novell. The Btrieve engines at each centre are now synchronized and linked over the bank's private, leased circuit WAN
