UBS: Overhaul to Leave Securities IT Intact

ZURICH--UBS officials say the majority of IT staff in its securities trading businesses should not be affected by the Swiss bank’s recent decision to set up a new internal business unit to consolidate the bank’s IT infrastructure operations.

A spokesperson for the bank in Zurich last week confirmed reports that the bank will set up the unit, dubbed IT International (ITI), in the second quarter of this year, and that it will account for more than 3,000 staff from within the UBS group. This unit
