GSTP to Shut Down by Year’s End

ZURICH--GSTP, the Swiss virtual matching utility (VMU) vendor set up by the Global Straight Through Processing Association (GSTPA) to develop and run an industry-owned VMU, is to close at the end of the year, according to GSTP officials.

The vendor has already ceased providing its Transaction Flow Manager (TFM) VMU service to its users, despite successfully developing a working but delayed offering, according to industry sources.

GSTP chief executive Juergen Marziniak blamed the shelving of T+1
