LSE Launches Program Based On New IP Network

EXCHANGE TECHNOLOGIES

LONDON--The London Stock Exchange has launched a major technology program that includes upgrading the hardware on which the exchange’s trading engine runs; becoming the network provider for Crest, London’s settlement utility; and offering new services like RSP Gateway, a routing service for retail brokers.

The program is based around the rollout of a new IP-based network, on which these new services will be offered. Colin Cruickshank, IT operations manager at the exchange, manages the program
