Touchpads To Support 40 In Lehman Bond Room

Shearson Lehman Brothers Inc. has decided to install Trinitech Systems Inc.'s touch-sensitive data-entry system in support of some 40 U.S. Treasury and agency traders in its fixed-income department in New York. The new touch- sensitive slates will replace keyboards as the user interfaces to the traders' workstations.
The implementation represents something of a departure for Lehman, which has in the past used voice-recognition technology from Verbex Voice Systems Inc. to support specialized data
