Bloomberg Plays Secret Agent as Two Are Arrested on Hacking Charges

NEW YORK--According to reports in The New York Times last week, Bloomberg's computer system was hacked into by two men from Kazakhstan. These men were later arrested and charged with unauthorized computer intrusion and attempting to extort $200,000 from the company.

A report in The Times names one of the men as Oleg Zezov, who gained access through a securities company he worked for in Kazakhstan. According to the report, Zezov sent an e-mail to Michael Bloomberg asking for payment. In return
