Nasdaq Suffers Glitch but Feeds Are on Schedule

Both of Nasdaq’s new datafeeds are running smoothly, despite a glitch one suffered shortly after launch.

Most large market data vendors went live with the UTP feeds on July 22 after a one-week delay (IMD, July 15). Nasdaq operates these feeds as the Securities Information Processor (SIP)for the Unlisted Trading Plan (UTP) exchanges.

However, the UTPTrade Datafeed (UTDF) experienced a glitch after the launch, says Adena Friedman, executive vice president of Nasdaq data products.

Friedman says that

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
