Vendors Positive After Upbeat Q3

The three major listed data vendors all reported revenue rises in their third-quarter financial results last week.
Thomson Financial reported revenues of $475 million on Wednesday, up four percent over the previous year’s third quarter, with profits rising six percent to $85 million. Thomson says it now provides the most workstations to the North American retail brokerage market.
