Chicago Board of Trade Proceeds to Upgrade Its Website

EXCHANGE WATCH

CHICAGO--The Chicago Board of Trade is in the process of upgrading its website, www.cbot.com. The changes are tentatively scheduled to appear in the fourth quarter.

"We’ll offer as much free content as we can get," says Tom Cargie, vice president of market data services. "The goal is to create a financial portal. Users would be able to pick and choose among the data they wanted to receive as part of our paid service."

With the updated website, users will be able to get quotes not only from CBOT
