ILX Installs Windows At Furman Selz; Firm Nudges Vendor Toward Mac Version

Furman Selz Inc. has just finished installing some 170 copies of Microsoft Corp. Windows on PCs running ILX's market data workstation software -- replacing Quotron dumb terminals. But the New York-based firm is lobbying for an Apple Computer Inc. Macintosh-based version of ILX's workstation software, and could well get one.
