Wang Sells Pared Down Shark To Wisconsin Brokerage

Shark is moving to Milwaukee. The high-powered market data product prized by many hotshot equity traders is about to assume a somewhat more mundane persona in the service of brokers at a midwest retail firm.
Wang Financial Information Services Corp., Shark's owner since 1985, has signed a $6 million, five-year deal to supply retail branch services to Robert W. Baird & Co., Inc., a 40-office regional firm based in Milwaukee. Shark will replace all of the ADP and Quotron terminals now at Baird
