New Star Takes Thomson One Analytics

UK-based fund management company New Star Asset Management has signed a contract for Thomson Financial’s Thomson One Analytics, Thomson will announce today, Monday, Nov. 10.
The system has been rolled out to 20 fund managers in the firm’s front office.
Charles Hornung, head of IT at New Star, says New Star also considered Multex, now Reuters Research, which was both an incumbent and a competitor for the new contract.
