Quotron To Offer High-Bandwidth Broadcast Data Feed In Support Of New Global Trading System

THIS MONTH'S LEAD STORIES

Quotron Systems, Inc. plans to introduce a 56 kilobits/second data feed to support its new Global Trading System (MTR, May 1987) and other Q1000 applications. Quotron's migration to a high-bandwidth broadcast network follows on the heels of Reuters's IDN introduction (see related story, this issue), and establishes 56 kbps as the standard for the next generation of equities data feeds.
