JP Morgan Set to Hire in India

JP Morgan Chase has yet to hire stock analysts and researchers in its Mumbai, India office after announcing in April that it planned to create a research team there.

A JP Morgan spokesperson in Hong Kong tells Inside Market Data that the bank has not awarded any positions so far because it wants to ensure it selects the correct people. “We are on schedule to hire a total of 40 people by the end of this year,” she says.

The official says the bank decided to move some of its research
