Hong Kong-Based Hutchison Forms Network For Distributing Data To Pagers

Hutchison Paging Ltd., part of Hong Kong-based Hutchison Whampoa group, this month began distributing financial market data via radio frequency to users of pagers, small handheld receivers. In launching the service, Hutchison finds itself among the big guys in Hong Kong's paging world, namely Telerate Systems Inc. and Reuters Holdings PLC.
