L.A.-Based Crowell Weedon Puts ADP In Place Of 150 Quotron Terminals

Crowell Weedon & Co. last week finished removing Quotron Systems Inc. Q800 and Q1000 equipment from its seven branches and 150 desktops throughout southern California. In its place, the Los Angeles-based retail brokerage installed used and new IBM 386-based PCs running Automatic Data Processing Inc.'s FS Partner market data service.

Last year, the full-service regional broker spent four months evaluating alternatives to its contract for Quotron Q800 and Q1000 service, which was set to expire
