DWT: The LME is one of the few exchanges that still operates an open outcry trading floor. What are your plans for the trading ring?

Michael Warren, LME: It still serves a very important function and, unlike other exchanges where as soon as electronic trading starts the floor closes, we have had electronic trading since 2001. There have been predictions almost every couple of years that our floor would close next year or the year after. The floor is very useful for our relatively illiquid
