Calyon Preps IRD Trading System

LONDON—The fixed-income markets division of Calyon, Crédit Agricole's corporate and investment banking arm, is preparing to roll out its interest-rate derivative (IRD) trading platform to external clients and has selected Smart Trade Technologies' liquidity management system (LMS) as its backbone, bank officials tell DWT.

The platform will automate order and trade flows within Calyon and toward its clients worldwide, Smart Trade officials say.

The firm is currently live with the platform
