ICE PICKS HAMMOND
Thomas Hammond
has been appointed to the post of president and COO of ICE Clear U.S., IntercontinentalExchange's wholly owned U.S. clearinghouse, exchange officials announced last week. Hammond, who will assume his new role Sept. 17, previously served as director of the former Chicago Board of Trade, now part of CME Group. Current ICE Clear U.S. president George Haase will take the position of executive vice chairman after a transition period lasting several months.
