Waters: How has your role changed in the last couple of years?

It has become increasingly more strategic. I come from the business side and one of the reasons I was asked to take this job over was that we wanted to become more strategic in IT. When I first came in I had certain things to focus on, such as getting unit cost down, utilizing offshoring and so forth.
