Trading turrets have given traders an edge since their invention nearly two decades ago. Used as a communications device and connectivity hub, the turret was considered innovative for its ability to connect a trader with numerous counterparties simultaneously, who could then speak along individual lines without being heard by other people on the call. Even with the arrival of more advanced trade execution tools, traders still rely on their turrets, though not in the same way.
