The market may be down, but attendance wasn’t. This year’s Securities Industry Association Technology Management Conference and Exhibit boasted 8,903 attendees, smashing last year’s record of 8,600. Slightly fewer attended the conference, however: 719, down from more than 800.
Many of the 258 booths reflected the prevailing themes: STP and T+1. But amid the heavy marketing of STP solutions, many exhibitors agreed that firms are holding off STP and T+1 projects pending more details from GSTPA
