KANSAS CITY, MO.--Last year, Bob Sauvageau, senior vice president and CTO of American Century, oversaw the development of American Century’s own Java-based portfolio management system, Apex. Now Rich Wilkie has joined the team as vice president of investment management technology functions, and with Sauvageau is bringing Apex to the palm of the portfolio managers’ hands, literally. The "palm of the hand" is the Palm Pilot VII, delivery mode of choice for the new system, Apex Lite.
