The cap-and-trade tirade

Unfortunately the cap-and-trade scheme the Obama Administration puts at the centre of its energy policy has hit a rocky road - the legislative process is never easy, but there is strong opposition to what some fear will end up causing higher electricity bills for consumers and still more manufacturing firms to relocate overseas, where they would escape government-mandated emissions caps. That's a fair but short-sighted argument. It's that or climate change.
