Deutsche Bank ‘Data Innovation Group’ Unveils First Data Tool

The first tool from Deutsche Bank’s Data Innovation Group analyzes companies’ values based on ESG and other factors, and public perception of a company’s ESG efforts.

The first release, a web-based tool dubbed α-DIG (pronounced “Alpha-Dig”), uses machine-learning techniques and artificial intelligence to collect qualitative data from unstructured content, such as financial media—including live and historical news feeds from Dow Jones, which was a partner in its development—and regulatory reporting filings.
