Quantopian Snags Larkin As Chief Investment Officer

Larkin will oversee investment into the vendor's community of algo writers

Prior to joining Quantopian, Larkin was a portfolio manager at Hudson Bay Capital Management, before which he was global co-head of equities at New York-based BlueCrest Capital Management and managing director at Nomura Securities. He also served as global head of equities at Millennium Partners, and head of single stock volatility trading at JPMorgan Chase.

Based in New York, Larkin reports to John Fawcett, chief executive of Quantopian.
