Firms need to implement a culture of risk awareness and use the necessary tools to manage their risk

The risk is no longer considered peripheral, and is regarded as a vital component from the C-level on down, partly due to the financial meltdown in 2008. At this year's European BST Summit, four risk senior managers said every company should focus on two key areas in their risk strategies: implementing a risk-aware culture from day one and deploying and further advancing existing technology.
