BGC Partners Names McMurray CFO
McMurray comes from insurance provider Amlin.
McMurray most recently was director of finance at independent insurance provider Amlin. He was also chief financial accountant at the Bank of England.
"Steve's diverse background encompasses both large, multi-national financial institutions as well as supervisory authorities," said Shaun Lynn, president of BGC, in a statement. "Steve adds in-depth expertise in financial management and broad based industry knowledge to our executive team. We are excited to have him join us in this important position."
