The LSE will integrate XTF into its Information Services division, which includes index provider FTSE Russell, the exchange's real-time datafeeds and reference data, and its RNS regulatory news service.

XTF delivers historical and fundamental data on ETFs traded in the US, Canada and Japan via a searchable website, direct data services and white-label solutions.

"The rapid rise of the global ETF market is prompting demand from institutional and retail investors and their intermediaries for access to high-quality global analytic tools, and XTF offers a complementary product suite to sit alongside the Group's global benchmarks and ETF listing venues," says Mark Makepeace, group director of information services at the LSE and chief executive of FTSE Russell, in a statement.
