Rimes Technologies Adds Brierwood to Board

New member has held senior roles in investment management

Buy-side managed services provider Rimes Technologies has announced David Brierwood as its newest board member.

Brierwood has experience in several senior leadership positions in the investment management industry.

Formerly chief operating officer of MSCI, David helped grow the company's revenues from less than $20 million to more than $1 billion. He also held various senior roles at Morgan Stanley spanning more than 20 years, including chief operating officer of the company's equity division and chief operating officer of its institutional and retail securities groups. Brierwood is a Crown Representative in the Cabinet Office of Her Majesty's Government, advising on procurement and the management of strategic suppliers.

At Rimes Technologies, his role will be to focus on the company's strategic development as a supplier to the money management industry.

CME: CFTC OKs clearing move to Google Cloud

The CFTC has given the Chicago-based exchange approval to run its clearing and settlement infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform, while the exchange and vendor have extended their partnership to last until at least 2037.
