Thadaney Leaves ITG For TMX Group

CEO of ITG Canada takes on new role at Toronto exchange parent

TMX Group, the parent of the Toronto Stock Exchange, has hired Nicholas Thadaney as president and CEO for global equity capital markets, effective September 1.

Previously, Thadaney was CEO of ITG Canada, the local unit of agency broker and technology provider ITG, where he worked for 15 years.

In his new role at TMX Group, Thadaney will be responsible for equity listing and trading activity. He is replacing Kevan Cowan, who was president of TMX Markets and group head of equities, who left the company.
