Scott Daspin joins Triad from Convergex

He will be responsible for new business generation and expanding the firm's presence among institutional clients, including hedge funds, family offices and registered investment advisors.

Daspin was previously a managing director at Convergex Group, where he spent a total of 14 years, having joined execution and clearing brokerage G-Trade Services ─ which was acquired by Convergex in 2007 ─ in 2000, where he served as managing director responsible for sales and marketing of the firm's electronic equities trading platform.

Prior to joining G-Trade, Daspin was a vice president at Merrill Lynch.

In his new role, Daspin reports to Ray Holland, vice chairman of Triad Securities.
