Chartis Research Joins Incisive Media Stable

Chartis will join Incisive Media's Incisive Insight division, home of Risk magazine and the firm's WatersTechnology group.

Peyman Mestchian believes the upcoming merger will put the combined entity in a better position to not only report on the market, but to influence and shape it too.

Chartis, founded in 2005, produces research and analysis of the risk technologies and trends affecting the capital markets, and will join Incisive Media's Incisive Insight division, home of Risk magazine (and its affiliated brands) and the firm's WatersTechnology group.

Speaking shortly after the acquisition was announced, Chartis' managing partner, Peyman Mestchian, explains the premise for his firm's founding, which he says was closely linked to the introduction of the Basel II Accord back in
