Data management software provider Asset Control has re-hired Martijn Groot as vice president of product strategy.

Groot previously held product and market executive roles at Asset Control from 2002 to 2012. Most recently, he was director of product management information services at Euroclear. Groot spoke with Inside Reference Data in December 2013 about data utilities issues.

"I am very pleased to be returning to Asset Control during truly exciting times for the company," says Groot. "The need to track usage of different sources, substantiate regulatory reporting and monitor quality all along the financial information supply chain is more pressing than ever."
