R.J. O’Brien Announces Acquisition of GFI Subsidiary Kyte Group

US brokerage and clearing firm to take ownership of derivatives clearing agent.

London-based Kyte, a derivatives clearing agent offering risk management, trade settlement and exchange connectivity via direct market access to proprietary traders, brokers, market makers and hedge funds, will be rebranded as R.J. O'Brien Limited upon completion of the deal.

Kyte Group operates European co-location facilities in London, Frankfurt and Paris, and will offer access to trading platforms to RJO clients under its new parent company.
