Dyson has served as the acting CIO since October 2014. She first joined the SEC in 2010, following a stint as deputy CIO at the US International Trade Commission.

Prior to serving as acting CIO, Dyson served as the SEC's deputy CIO. She helped with the modernization of service delivery platforms and business applications and oversaw the SEC's big data and data management initiatives.

"Pam has been instrumental in our ongoing efforts to enhance the SEC's information technology capabilities," says SEC chair Mary Jo White. "I am confident she will provide the expertise, leadership, and vision necessary to further advance the SEC's technology operations."
