Cleartrade to Retain Data Feed Format Amid Deutsche Börse Platform Migration

The exchange has elected to keep its data feeds despite switching trading platforms

Cleartrade Exchange provides an electronic global marketplace for over 40 different derivative contracts covering energy, freight, metal and agriculture

Under the deal, Deutsche Börse will host and operate the M7 platform while Cleartrade will organize and maintain market operations, but as CLTX has built an interface between M7's API and its own proprietary system, the exchange's market data feeds will continue to be delivered in the current format, officials say.

In November last year, CLTX made its real-time market data available via EEX parent Deutsche Börse's CEF datafeed, in an effort to increase participation on Cleartrade among Deutsche
