Genscape officials say the acquisition of Energy Fundamentals will provide traders and analysts with the ability to calculate price impacts immediately on observing power plant activity, enabling them to evaluate their positions faster, and to build long-term scenarios using outage data that covers plant operation and recovery information, and historical power generation data for more efficient asset optimization, asset valuation and scenario analysis.
