But while industry observers applaud the deal, there is little detail available─at least, prior to the deal closing, which is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of this year─about exactly how the vendor will contribute to that goal, though ICE plans to provide more details in its Q3 earnings announcement in November, a spokesperson says.
Announcing the acquisition, ICE chairman and chief executive Jeffrey Sprecher said SuperDerivatives will play "a key role" in extending ICE's clearing
