Market Stucture Consultancy KOR Group Launches

President Dave Lauer, a former trader at Allston Group and Citadel, has co-founded KOR with CEO Chris Nagy.

Nagy, KOR's CEO, was formerly managing director of order routing, sales strategy and market-data strategy at TD Ameritrade, where he served for 12 years and also headed the firm's government relations efforts. He has previously held board positions with Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Nasdaq's Quality of Markets Committee, and the Options Industry Council Roundtable, among others.

Meanwhile, Lauer will serve as president and managing partner, leveraging extensive past experience as a quantitative analyst and high-frequency trader. He most recently spent time as a technology architect for Verdande Technology and IEX Group, before which he was on electronic trading desks at Allston Trading and Citadel.

Both men are registered lobbyists.
