LME Names Sloan and Lester as COO and CFO

Sloan joins the LME from NYSE Euronext where he spent almost 20 years, most recently as the head of strategic development and chief of staff for its NYSE Liffe derivatives business. He will be in charge of determining future operational strategy and will report to LME's newly-appointed CEO, Garry Jones.

Lester, meanwhile, was most recently a director in assurance at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and will be responsible for oversight of all financial functions within the LME. She will report to both Jones and Paul Kennedy, Group CFO of LME's parent operator, Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Clearing (HKEx).
