Deutsche Borse's Indian takeaway: the German exchange will distribute data from the Bombay Stock Exchange (pictured)

Under the agreement, Deutsche Börse will provide sales and marketing activities outside India for BSE's real-time, delayed and end-of-day equities and derivatives data, along with other information such as results, announcements, corporate actions and index data, and will also be jointly responsible for product development of BSE's information services.

The move will allow clients to access both exchanges' data under a single license agreement with Deutsche Börse, while also expanding Deutsche Börse's footprint in India and related economies.

The deal follows a technology partnership announced earlier this year under which BSE will use Deutsche Börse's trading platforms.
