Perseus is among a handful of firms targeting Brazil for growth.

The move particularly aligns with Perseus' growth strategy in Brazil, which now includes a dedicated team, brought on board last September with the acquisition of support services provider ETradeLab, whose order execution expertise is helping new entrants manage their activities in the emerging market.

"Our ultra-low-latency network is engineered to sustain capacity for global market data from over 50 markets such as between Nasdaq OMX in New York and BM&F BOVESPA in Sao Paolo. Participating in FPL is an important endeavor for the markets Perseus serves, as we are uniquely addressing trading technology for order routing and to-the-tick market data," says Marcos Guimaraes, president of the firm's Brazilian operation.
