Smart Move for RBS Appointment

Smart will be based in RBS's London offices.

RBS has appointed Jeremy Smart as its global head of electronic distribution, within its Markets and International Banking (MIB) division.

Smart was previously head of fixed income e-commerce, and global head of e-commerce sales at Morgan Stanley, a position he held for seven years from 2005. Prior to that, he worked on the development of the Autobahn platform at Deutsche Bank.

Based in London, he will report to Fabian Shey, global head of prime services and client execution.
