Fixed-income electronic trading provider Bonds.com has announced the appointment of Tom Thees as CEO for the group's broker dealer and alternative trading system (ATS), Bonds.com Inc. (BCI), which offers liquidity and execution through its all-to-all anonymous platform, BondsPro.

Thees has 30 years of experience building both traditional and electronic fixed income operations, having most recently served as head of investment grade credit and formerly co-head of fixed income for Jefferies & Co., and an additional previous role as COO of MarketAxess.

"Tom joining Bonds.com, Inc. is a significant development for our industry, our clients, and our firm. In building our franchise worldwide we are confident that the firm foundation that is already in place will serve as a basis for Tom to lead our organization in significant growth across products and markets, while he simultaneously develops the infrastructure and resources to realize that anticipated growth," says Ted Knetzger, chairman of Bonds.com Group, Inc.
