Rodman & Renshaw Changes Names, Strategy, and Management

In a conference call today, broker-dealer Rodman & Renshaw Capital Group announced two major changes: one expected and one not.

Months ago, the firm announced that it would be changing its name and business model pursuant to shareholder approval at the May 4 annual stockholder meeting. With that approval given, Rodman & Renshaw Capital Group will become Direct Markets Holdings Corp. on June 1. It will trade on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol MKTS.
