SIFMA App: An Editor's Best Friend

Since about every third attendee has their nose glued to their smart phones this morning, I'd say that the the Securities Industry and Financial Market Association (SIFMA) has scored a solid gold with its show app this year.

Freely available for download, the app replaces those two familar confernce and expo guides from years past. Besides giving a handy schedule, expo map and exhibitor guide, the developers tossed in a news and Twitter feed for the show. 

I haven't had a chance to check out the document download function yet, but I'm sure I will as long as my iPhone's battery holds out.

CME: CFTC OKs clearing move to Google Cloud
