Oppenheimer Funds
has hired George Batejan as executive vice president and chief information officer. His responsibilities will include upgrades to the shareholder service system and portfolio management systems. Batejan had been at American International, where he was head of systems and operations for the foreign general insurance business. Oppenheimer Funds, which has $91 billion in assets under management, was formerly a subsidiary of Oppenheimer & Co., a broker-dealer which was acquired byOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
